Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a Catholic school that endeavours to empower its members to follow Jesus and foster a knowledge and understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church, with particular emphasis on Gospel values.
We belong to a compassionate Christian community where Catholic ideals and attitudes are taught, practised and valued. We acknowledge that we, as teachers, are employed by the church to assist parents in the teaching of their children about our shared Catholic faith and provision of opportunities to experience prayer and liturgy as part of school life.
At OLMC we believe that Sacraments are the living out of our faith. They are important celebrations in our faith journey and the heart of our Catholic tradition. Our parish based Sacramental program is aligned with the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children and supported by the Religious Education program taught at the school.
